ryansutton Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Im doing an unattened install, basically copied a script used with a previous win2000 install. I ended up copying some programs into the xp install and my iso turned out about 900MB. Evidently XP is much larger than 2000.Is there anyway around getting some programs to install on a script with the unattended CD? Or should I just create a script and put on a seperate CD?
Asin Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 If you plan on burning the ISO image to a CD, you'll have to remove some of those applications anyways.Might as well do that and re-edit your script at the same time.
ryansutton Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 the solution i came up with is taking off all my applications, leaving the windows update hotfixes there, and creating another cd with all my apps and a script to run them all.but....this is my first unatteded configuration and its giving me a headache!
