jla1man Posted September 1, 2005 Share Posted September 1, 2005 I have recently bought an HP media center desktop. when i bought it i also purchased a bfg nvidia geforce 6600 GPU to boost up performance. Well the problem is that when i first booted my computer the media center has had artifacting problems. Thats at leasst what the tech support at BFG said it was. A quick description of whats wrong is sporatic black triangular blotches on the screen that either end up freezing my computer or just making the media center horrible to even open. BFG has had me download various drivers from nvidida for the card even the original drivers ie 66.93. Nothing has worked it still goes crazy on me when i open up the media center. the weird thing is tho that it does not do it on any other video playback devices, even the windows media player which is what i am forced to wathc dvds on. but with my cable coming soon i would love to have the PVR capabilities so please respond ASAP if you have any suggestion thanks.
