dextroz Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 After installing Norton Ghost 9.0 (32-bit) on Windows Vista Beta 1 32-bit (5112) I perform the update manually from live-update folder. Norton Ghost refuses to start up and shows the following error:data necessary to complete this operation is not yet availableIt also says in the systerm tray: Unable to enumerate drives / unable to connect to Agent.Elsewhere on the net Ghost 9.0 is listed as compatible software for 32bit on 32-bit environment. Is there something I need to do to spicifically get Ghost to work?Secondly, I am unable to get Cisco VPN Client to install. It fails to register certain files.Thank you for your replies.
prathapml Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Its probably because Ghost9 wants .NET framework 1.1And Vista has v2.0 of the same - which is not fully backward compatible till now atleast.
