Hi!

Firstly sorry about my bad english, I am from Finland you know.. ;P

So I'm kind of beginner in this area of doing unattended windows XP CD. I have always used nLite and kind of "easytomake" softwares.

Now I would like to replace the orginal Notepad.exe with Notepad2 (to have it replaced in the CD) I know I had to rename it to Notepad.exe but what after that? I have heard somekind of program makecab or something like that.

Lets assume that I have successfully made this Cab? file and put that in to the i386 folder. Does this make some kind of problems with SFC (windows file protection), or does the Windows understand that the all repleaced files in the CD would be its own files -orginals (if you understood)?

...yet more question: does this replacing make some problems with the CD if I have integrated SP2, RyanVM pack and done some tweaks with nLite?
