I cannot enable the "windows audio service" at control panel, it appears as a check box, after cheking and restarting the check box appears unchecked.... At services.msc console the "Windows audio service" dont appear anywhere.

The audiosrv.dll file is on my HD, but, it's like not exsting.

I tried Registry mechanic, error fixer, etc, but not progress.

All drivers are installed, already tried wih 2 sound card, the drivers appear installed and working at device manager.

Any help will be highly appreciatted.

ok here is a registry file, Aparently some uninstallers are removing the "Start" value from the registry forcing the service to not show up as being installed.

I have pasted the Registry fix below just copy and paste it into a new text document then rename the document to fix.reg also included it as an attachment

===============================================

Beginning of file

===============================================

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AudioSrv]

"Start"=dword:00000002

===============================================

end of file

===============================================

Audio_fix.reg
