unrecognized cd rom

Featured Replies

anybody know how can i use my cd rom with pcmcia on my notebook? i'm using it before...when i upgraded my notebook into xp my cd rom is not recognized...since i use n-lite to remove some components of installation...i have to provide the driver of my devices. my cd rom is now in b: drive and its says it is not existing because it has question mark on its icon..what shall i do?

I would say that M$ didn't support such a hardware. I saw a CDROM connected via PCMCIA years ago in a computer magazine as a advertisment on it.

Do you removed PCMCIA support in nLite? Something like native support if you didn't removed it should be, but this is very not to be likely to come.

Drivers are not avaible? I think not. It's not a wide-spread piece of hardware. :(
