devans
Hi,Try as I might, I couldn't find a answer to this, but appologies if it's already been covered.I have a new dimentions 9100 that I'm attempting to install via RIS. I managed to get PXE to work via a CD/old NIC, but now have an issue with the SATA drive. The install fails with a 'unknown disk' error. I'm sure the correct drivers are missing from the RIS server, but what I would like to do is edit the ristndrd.sif file such that I can use the F6 method of installing the HD drivers... I was hoping 'OemPreinstall = no' was the key, but no such luck.Could anyone tell me what needs to be in the ristndrd.sif so I can F6 it?On a slight side note, will F6 allow drivers to be loaded from a CD? The intel management drivers downloaded from Dell creates a floppy disk for a PC that shipped without one... =)Thanks in advance!
