Hi there !

I searched this forum, but couldn't find an answer to my question. Did I overlook it or didn't anyone had this problem before, who knows.

My PC (and many more equipment was struck by lightning (really). I build a new PC, with an Asus K8N4-E Deluxe motherboard. It doesn't have an AGP-slot anymore, but a PCIex. No drivers for it on my install-CD, off-course. So the setup got stuck at the some point. I created a new one with nLite. SP4 included, all known Hotfixes in the correct language, removed Paint, Pinball, games, other languages and some other minor things. All very cautious: I'm not an expert.

I did succeed in making the new bootable CD. And... it passed the point of the PCIex, started formatting, etc. GREAT ! But than....

Now here's the problem: it hangs where is mentioned (in the blue field) "One moment please. Setup initializes your Windows 2000 configuration" (my translation). The white field (below) says: "Saving configuration". Well, that one moment has become one hour now, so: desperation is knocking on my door.

Is this a bug or my wrongdoing? :blushing: After all: I'm not an IT-expert.

Thanks in advance for your advice.
