fathead Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 OK I have tried very long and hard to find a way to create a floppy so that I can install a sata hdd. People have claimed to make it work but I don't seem to be able to interpret how to make an ISO image work, or to change the system file and paste the correct info in place in the i386? folder. I am frustrated that this is an easy fix if there were simply a place to go to get the floppy made. That is what I need when I f6 the install process. If anyone knows a solution to this I would love them...and not just in a brotherly love way My mobo is an AOPEN AK86-L My HDD is maxtor 160gb diamondmax plus9anyone?
fathead Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 the chipset is vt8327. I can't get it from VIA...broken link. so now I am trying to learn how to create a slipstream disk on a floppy. Please forgive my ignorance, but I could uyse a link to a walkthrough. or if anyone has time, to help me get through.
