explorer crashs when rightclick on the icon

It's very strange, every user except me on my computer have this problem.

when you rightclick on an icon, a box opened and said explorer error, in order to protect your computer, dep close it, etc. However, it never happen in my user, why?

I know that except explorer from dep can solve this problem, but why only my user doesn't have this problem?

some etting might have gone wrong with ur user

try deleting ur user a/c and create again the same user

try repairing registry as well.

install antivirus with latest signature

i've tryed to create a new user, but the same thing still happened

i wonder if it was very dangerous to disable dep on my computer

Uninstall DivX codec

If explorer crashes everytime you right click, you are probably seeing the incompatibility between the current version of divx and SP2. This is being reported by multiple people.

Divx is a video compression technology that many people have installed on their system.
