Hi

from the run menu in windows XP can anyone tell me the comand to bring up the last error status that caused a system crash

Have a friend who didnt write down the error number but wants me to debug it for him

Hi,

do you have set up the system to write a memory dump on crash? If yes, you can use the debugging tools (available from ms) to analyze the dump and often it's reason.
