Is it possible to run win 2003 sbs as not as a dc?

I have installed win 2003 sbs stoppng after the first cd because i don't need any dc or exchange server, but after a week the server started to reboot!

I read in the microsoft support that this is normal if you had not terminate the installation. Now I have terminated the installation of sbs, but I would like to know if is possible to downgrade the server and use it without the DC.
