msword auto generated no help

hi ,

In MSWord all the figure no are inserted using the insert caption option...

In the existing document i need to change the figure no which is already autogenerated..

for ex:

fig 23.

this has to be changed to 24 all other figures below this must start from 25 automatically.. how to do this...
