marla_singer Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Hello!I have a question...Anybody knows if there is a group policy that disables users to connect to a drive mapping by using start run -> o: (for example)So the situation is as follows: the clients have a computer with for example an o: drive wich connects to a share. The users have enough rights.I want that the user can just browse to the o: drive in the windows explorer. But don't want them to get there via run as, or via the adressbalk in the explorer. Thanks in advance
prathapml Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Maybe this policy (applied via registry) would help? LINK
Hamins Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Well, you could deny the users access to the 'Run' option. Will that do ?
