Been trying to create a slipstream a windows xp cd and create a cd image to start creating my unattended install disc now for a week!

Everytime I create the image and try and install there's always problems not reading some files, different files everytime, I don't understand it!

Has anyone got any ideas? I've done this b4 no problems in the past but this time round it just doesn't want to install!!!

That is a really wierd problem, I have made several slip streamed CD's and only saw that problem once.

All I did to resolve the issue was change my optical drive.

Yeah I know it's got me confused too!

I thought it might be the optical drive but the only thing that touches the drive now is the copying the windows files to the hdd as the rest is ISO images and virtual machines!

Strange!
