Messenger Port trigger and reply for router needed???

Ok, for my files to be able to be sent through messenger I need to set my router up to the port the app is triggered on will be able to recieve the return info. Does anyone know this information??? At least I think thats the promblem. I was able to finally set up my ftp server to open up for people to connect. Now I can recieve files through messenger but I can not sent.

While you have Messenger open, open up a command prompt, and type netstat or netstat -a

It should bring up a long list, you'll easily find Messenger in it.

on mine, I found this:

TCP PC1:2641 msgr-ns56.msgr.hotmail.com:1863 ESTABLISHED

but it doesn't mean yours is the same, messenger uses different MSN servers.

Now I did this earlier. Which one would be the outgoing port? 2641 or 1863 for you. So when I look at mine I can tell the difference. And how would I find out what the incoming port is for messenger?
