Hi! I am preparing Adobe Reader package and encountered one problem -

I dont want to show pdf files in browser (sometimes I can see message %PDF% is not recognized file extension), but I cant find where this setting is!

I know it is in MIME database, but these settings are NOT included in adobe.msi file :( So it looks like they are automatically generated after running acrobat.

Have anyone solution on this or should I continue with my research?

If you unregister pdfshell.dll. This will disable the ActiveX in the browser.

It is in "%ProgramFiles%\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0\ActiveX\".

There is also a regkey related to this. Run regsnap to capture the specific key, but that alone doesn't disable the feature.

You'll have same issue in v7.0.1
