I stumbled across theses forums when looking for something on the the web and was impressed by the professional look and feel as well as the opensource style attitude to helping others . myself i was a seafarer for 30 years and got into computers as a hobby while on long sea passages. using computers to make the job easier taught me most of what i know of computers. i have now swallowed the anchor and work out of head office, mostly maintaining the data and systems we use on a day to day basis - albeit in a minor role. i have never been that fond of the MS Office prduct, but am a convert with the arrival of 2003 which i want to have my babies.
