sarment Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 How do I----Set my computer clock to change to/from daylight savings time WITHOUT having outlook adjust for daylight savings time?
compster Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 I think what you're looking for is in Control Panel/Date and Time/Time Zone. At the bottom is a box to check for " ... adjust for daylight saving ...".
sarment Posted May 16, 2005 Author Posted May 16, 2005 If you do this the problem is----It makes Outlook calendar automatically adjust for daylight savings time, which means it adds an hour to entries in some circumstances. One example if someone asks you to a meeting and you accept, it will add an hour to the meeting time. I have discovered it is not advisable to have outlook auto adjust for daylight savings time because you lose control of the actual times on your calendar. So, I need a way to disassociate the computer clock with the outlook auto adjust.
