softer Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 as we all known if there are a lot of files in my computer, such as "softer, sefter, sete, swud" we usually use "s" to quick locating this files ,because their first key is "s". my question is if i want to quick locating on "sete" but i press "s" four times, it will never focus on "sete" but on "swud".when i face this problem i always press "s" for another three times.my question is if we could find a method just like TAB and SHIFT+TAB, we can easily locating files from above to bottom or from bottom to above.although we can use quick press "s" "e" "t" to locate "sete",but i do not think it is a good idea. PS: i do not want to use any other tools such as TC.i come from china ,my english is poor. i wonder if you could understand my question. 3Q all.
mattofak Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 you could, and this is a strange answer to a strange question, just use the arrow keys to nav up and down...still, there is a reason that windows allows you to type in 's' 'e' 't' 'e'it works a lot quicker...
