Hey everyone,

In my quest to create the "ultimate universal" XP DVD, I was wondering if a program exists that allows me to change OwnerName, Organization, Computername, Workgroup, Administrator password during setup and also create a Username and Password to use at first logon to install programs.

The reason I don't want to use winnt.sif for this, is that some computers, for instance my laptop, don't have a disk-drive, so that puts a restraint on the usage of winnt.sif.

So basically, the winnt.sif would contain some temporary values, and when running windows setup, a program runs at cmdlines.txt that allows me (or someone else) to input other values for it.

The idea behind this is, as I said, that the DVD is a "universal" one, so that I could just run over to someone to reinstall, put in the DVD, change their Ownername, Computername, Organization, Workgroup, Administrator Password, then create the user(s) they need, the first one being the one which will log on at first logon, select the programs that need to be installed, resume and come back after two hours when everything is done.

When someone asks me to reinstall now, I change the things they want (including RunOnceEx values for software) create the ISO, test it, (if required: make changes and test again,) burn it and install.

I hope it is clear what I am looking for, and I hope someone can give me the "golden" tip that leads me to a program that can do this.

Thanks in advance,
