Is there an app, script or a way to identify the logon server for all computer objects in AD? Attempting to organize computer objects in AD from different physical locations nationwide. Many have been created in default OU and are difficult to identify the property they belong to. Specific Group Policies are set for the OU depending on location.

You want to find out which logon server the computers registred in your AD uses?

If thats the case, id figure they use the one available and registred as a domain login server in your AD.

If you want to find out which server the computer used when it logged on there is a local set variable called %LOGONSERVER% it will tell you the name of the logon server prefixed with \\.

If you question was neither of those, try to specify (or maybe im just too dumb to help)

We have a domain with computer objects from different major US cities populating AD. Is there a way to obtain some type of list for all computers in AD and the logonserver they authenticate with? I can then determine the DC which will tell me which city that the computer object belongs to and move it to the proper OU.
