Getting txtsetup.sif to look to local harddrive

Recommended Posts

I used winnt32 /makelocalsource to copy my install files to my harddrive. My understanding is using the /makelocalsource switch is suppose to allow you to continue an XP installation without the CD being present AFTER the files are copied over and the first reboot.

Problem is it keeps looking to my CD-Rom for the files. My directory structure is on the harddrive.. (Just putting the first two levels)

$Extend

$WIN_NT$.~BT

L $OEM$

L system32

$WIN_NT$.~LS

L $OEM$

L I386

.

OEM

L bin

WINDOWS

I figure it is something in the txtsetup.sif that is causing this. How can I modify the txtsetup.sif to look to c:\$WIN_NT$.~LS for the files (or the appropriate locations in the directory structure copied over)? ;)
