I am doing a RIS install across the network of Server 2003. The install goes fine, but after the final reboot, I see the "Windows Server 2003" screen for about a second, but then it blue-screens.

I have tried to go into Safe Mode, but it still does the same thing.

How could I make the system not reboot after a BSOD? This would have to be done during setup, but I am unaware of how to do it.

Thanks for your help,

Not yet lol

I was thinking it would be the same process as it is in XP - must be a reg key you cud import at the end of the setup - if that cud be done via RIS or not I dunno, having not use RIS. I dont think there's a option for it in winnt.sif and sorry i dont know what the reg key is, but it may give you an idea what to search for :)

If that made any sense lol

Regards and welcome to MSFN.

If the system is blue screening, the first thing that springs to mind is drivers for the hardware!

Are you installing 2003 server or installing using 2003 server, or maybe both !!

Have a look at your driver set, inparticular the chip set and hdd (if using scsi disks) drivers.

I dont think trying to stop the reboot will help!
