May 3, 200521 yr I made an unattended XP SP2 disk and is works amazingly. One thing that was noticed in XP is the way that computers are displayed in Network Places in a domain. In the attached jpg you see the Description followed by the Computer Name.Description (Computer Name) I would need that to be inversed like thisComputer Name (Description) The same applies in My Computer with the mapped drive letters. I looked through Technet, MSFN forums, Kelly's Korner as well as scores of google search results with no luck.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank youChristian CorriveauNetwork Software AnalystCanadian Department of National Defence
May 3, 200521 yr I find that a little irritating too so wouldnt mind an answer on it.Also, is there a GP setting somewhere to flip it (for domain users)?Regards,N.
