Installs default to the wrong partition

Hi;

Made the NLite iso and installed it on 3 separate partitions of my hard drive. They are labeled C D and E. Every thing worked great until I started Installing software. When Installing a program they always defaulted to the D partition even If I had started up in C or E. How can I get my Installations to install on the partition I am currently running on ? Any help is greatly appreciated.
