aerotive Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Hi everyoneJust after Outlook 2003 starts, a pop-up window is displayed saying "Configuring Outlook, Migrating Account Settings, Migrating Preferences....". Outlook then crashes with the following message:"Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".I'm then given a chance to restart Outlook and send an error report to MS, then to start the program in safe mode. Safe mode doesn't make a difference.I've tried Detect & Repair, a full uninstall and reinstall of Office 2003, and installing every possible service pack and update from the Office Update site. I've also tried the instructions in this http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=826494Anyone Knowledgebase article. Anyone know of anything else I can try? All the other Office 2003 apps work fine...Also here is the entry of the crashfrom XP's event viewer, it's the same every time Outlook 2003 crashes:"Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937, faulting module outlcm.dll, version 10.0.2623.0, stamp 3a97f64e, debug? 0, fault address 0x00023017.For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp."
