problem when accepting a meeting in outlook

Hi,

basically, in microsoft outlook 2002 SP3 if the users inbox is full and they receive a meeting request, upon accepting the meeting it fails and the original meeting message is deleted. Is there a workaround for this? is this an outlook problem or the way it is designed?
