brian873
Over the weekend I was trying to find out a bit more about booting a pc from a LAN using the NIC. After some searching I have came up against a brick wall. The concept seems pretty easy although the software for it alludes me !Does anyone know of any tools that I can use to try this out ? Stuntgp2000
RIS is available only on Windows Server 2000 & 2003, it does not exist on Windows XP.if you want to do a PXE Boot I suggest you use Argon Server, it can be installed on Windows XP & does not have some limitations of RIS, such as boot using RPL protocol.
