remote access phone book

Hi,

my knowledge regarding VPNSs could be written on the back of a postage stamp so please bear with me :-)

Just downloaded a program which should ofer me a choice of several VPN locations on my W2k computer - the program is OK because it works on my other computer which has xp on it.

The program has a pbk extension.

Anyway the program doesn't have a dial up phone book logo which it has on my xp machine.

Depending on which program I associate the pbk file with I get either an "empty" or a dial up networking box when I click on it.

Any help would be appreciated.

if you have time could you please tell me how to tailor it to the program that it needs to be associated with.

Why doesn't W2K recognize a pbk file but XP does ?
