Win2k Recycle bin slow to empty

Hi Everyone,

My 2k recycle bin always takes about 10 seconds to empty - even when it has only a few things in it. I've notice that XP's bin empties almost immediately. Is there a registry setting that would help with this? or something else?

Have you checked disk fragmentation?

Yeah, I'm always well defragged. I do a lot of video and I'm obsessive about it.
