n_segal Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Help needed!!!I've had problems with IE6 so i tried to reinstall it following the instruction on the windows website. The installation crashed halfway through, and now it won't let me reinstall it again as it claims there is a pending installation. The warning message says that i need to reboot to close the installation, but this does nothing at all. How can i uninstall IE6 completely to reinstall it cleanly. Can i do it with regedit for example?
martin_mcmanus Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Have you tried reming it from under "add/remove Windows components" with a**/remove software?? Also check to see what/if any services are running that look likely to be an install ....
martin_mcmanus Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 What did I just type! Can you tell i was out for a beer last night!! I meant to say removing not reming!!and "with a**/remove software?? " was meant to be "within add/remove software??
