paulr1984
Hi! I was wondering, are the dlls for developing mfc applications in windows free? Can I actually develop mfc applications using cygwin or mingw? I'm currently using visual studio and I'm kinda looking for a cheaper alternative. Could you help me out? Thanks! pZy
The MFC classes are shipped with Visual Studio, and they belong to Microsoft. So I cannot imagine other companies to ship them with their own IDE. Maybe MS sells the MFC itself without VS, but i never heard of that. But if you already have VS why caring about an cheater alternative. Most developers still use VS6. I prefer version 6, although I have the .NET 2003 installed WM_CHEERS
