Navigator Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a way of installing pgp (Pretty Good Privacy) silently without any diaglog to respond to? when i had made my custom xp unattended i noticed that the diaglog for this app came up. Any suggestions? Okay thanks again.
quiz Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 It's an InstallShield.Launch the installer with the -R switch.PGP8.exe -RComplete the install with your preferences. (You may want to skip the "Do you have previous keys" part as I am not sure how the silent install would handle this)Then you would go into your Windows (or WINNT) directory and get the setup.iss file and move it to the PGP8.exe installer's directory. Now it will install silently with -s using the .iss setup file you created.PGP8.exe -sI haven't tested it completely on a new system yet...but it seems to work.Or did you know this?
