zillah Posted March 28, 2005 Share Posted March 28, 2005 I have got this scenario1- My Desktop (PC1) at university's campus windows XP. 2- My laptop (PC2) at home with windows XP as well, which is connected to internet (dialup modem).3- My Desktop (PC3) at home with Win2000 Pro connected to internet via ADSL router linksys WAG54G.I do not have any firewall on both PC1 and PC2, and PC3.1-From PC3 (desktop at home with ADSL) , I can ping remote desktop (PC1), and I can ping www.google.com2-From PC2 (laptop at home with Dialup), I can not ping PC1, I tried to ping www.google.com, it did not work.If I cancelled dialup connection , and I connected laptop (PC2) to ADSL router , I can ping remote desktop (PC1) without any problem , and I can ping www.google.com as wellAny clue about this issue ?
