I can't be the only one to notice memory growth over time from just normal use (IE, Outlook, DVD Shrink), Itunes). I even went and used N-Lite and cleaned out alot of uneeded items (ATM drivers, system restore, etc).

Also current drivers seem to suck up alot of memory. I've ran various builds through VMWare and have a memory footprint of about 90 mb, but once I install on a physical machine, and add all the necessary drivers, my footprint jumps to about 160mb (this is without installing things like ATI's control panel, audio mixers, etc.)

System Setup:

MSI Neo4 SLI w/512mb Ram

AMD 3500+

(2) WD 120 raided on SI3132 controller.

ATI X700 256 mb Video Card

Pioneer 16x DL DVD Writer
