I Locked Myself Out Of "my Documents" Folder

I had XP pro installed on my C partition and had the "My Documents" folder redirected to a folder on my D partition so if I had to rinstall windows I wouldn't loose my files. Well, I just had to reinstall XP, and since I had the privacy feature enabled on the folder in my D partition, now that I formatted and reinstalled XP on the C partition I can't gain access to the folder with all my files. I get "D:\My Documents is not accessible" "Access is denied".

I really need help!!!

you need to need to take ownership of that folder.
