Xp On Presario 6016us

This is running me nuts- I can't find a driver for the SM Bus Controller in Device Manager/Hardware. I've googled all over for info on this without results.

Anyone had this prob before? I'm reluctant to do a system restore.

What mainboard and chipset does this presario use?

Find that and then just get the drivers from the chipset maker's site.

Problem solved- I found the vendors's code in

DEVICE MANAGER/properties - then looked it up on that vendor's web page and selected the only possible driver it could be. Turns out I was correct.

Attachment is an example, not the actual problem. This problem exists on my PC, but I'm not concerned as I am NOT using RAID.
