Outlook Backup Restored Wrong

Dear All,

I re-installed Windows XP and MS Outlook 2002 and restored the mail backup created by Microsoft standard backup/restore utility. After that my address book is missed and starting Outlook I have messages about missed .dll files that were belonging to programs used before re-installation and no any more. I followed the suggestion given in the error message appearing on screen and tried MS Outlook Detect and Repair function but it didn’t help.

Can you advise what to do.

i advice you to create handmatically the backup because the backuptool is (censored).... i have the same problem with outlook express and lost my whole adressbook. search for the map where the mails exist and also save your adressbook with ,,,,, (i dont know the english word of ,,,) before asking what i mean with ,,, please check your outlook> save adressbook.
