Searched but couldn't find anything.

I attempted to make an unattended install XP sp2 disc with the RunOnce method.

After rebooting from the run once install the CD-ROM drives are not detected which are reported as not having drivers under device manager, this occurs when installing VMware and actually installing on my machine.

I thought it was probably some of the software in the list that was causing it, so one by one I removed an item from RunOnce and reinstalled using VMWare,

eventually after removing Adobe Acrobat v6 the drives were detected however after putting all the items back on the install list except Acrobat the problem returned.

I am at a loss, what is causing this or what else can I do? I have tried a different XP install disc as a source too.

This is the list of software if it is of any use:

MSN Messenger 6.2

FFDSHOW (2005) codecs

Office 2003

Real Player Alternative

Quicktime Player Alternative

IE Google Toolbar

Winamp v5

Adobe Acrobat 6 pro

Windows Media Player v10

Ad-Aware

Installing .NET framework

Symantec AntiVirus v9 corp

Sun Java 5 end user
