0-1
Hi guys hopefully you can help me with this.I'm sure everyone is well aware of the standard Windows XP Metallic theme, with its 3 variants Default (Blue), Olive Green, and Silver. Now because I am only now getting into skinning and customizing windows,I have always used the Silver theme. It being the only one that is bearable for longer than 5 minutes! My problem lies with the Logon Screen for Domains, you know the text based login, as opposed to the Welcome screen. Now say I have my Silver theme, or Custom msstyle & theme (as the case is now), for my normal windows interface. When I lock the workstation, windows retains the Silver or custom theme. But if I log-out completly, at just the last moment, windows reverts BACK to that nasty Blue scheme.I had thought that because this would be a seperate interface, I could simply edit the logon files (LOGONUI.EXE & MSGINA.DLL).But when I use ResourceTuner, it doesn't turn up any visable sections to edit / change.I have also tried including the Silver / custom themes, as the default theme file in my unattended DVD. They install fine, but I still get the same network logon issue.Maybe I'm totally blind and have missed something, and my apologies if this turns out to be a dumb question, but I am really struggling. Many Thanks for any help.0-

kyuuzo
Use this key[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ThemeManager]Use regedit to change"DllName" = put the path of the msstyles here"ColorName"= and put the name of the color hereFor example to make it use Luna with the Metallic (Silver) color set"DllName"="%SystemRoot%\Resources\themes\Luna\Luna.msstyles""ColorName"="Metallic"Once you've changed these then you can export it for easy use
