My Registry Tweaks

Attached are my reg tweaks, most can be found in the reg_tweaks.txt in the sticky. The main difference is these are sorted via directories.

Some of the reg entries are bundled together (Folder Options, Security Center, Media Player), but most are single commands. With the exception of disabling certain services, I do not belive there are duplicate listings.

Please note, there is NO UNDO.

If you don't want a setting, change the entry to .txt and it won't be installed. To run

call ExeReg.cmd

Some of the Display directory rests upon my 256Color.theme. I have this stored in

$OEM$\$$\Resources\Themes

    DefaultStartPanelOff=No
    DefaultThemesOff=Yes
    CustomDefaultThemeFile="%windir%\Resources\Themes\256Color.theme"

This saves some time and reg tweaks. The 256Color.theme is just black and grey w/o gradient fills and uses (well used to) the base 16 colors native to Windows.

Finally, I'm trying to figure out four things:

1) how do I set Firefox to be the default browser

2) how do I stop Outlook Express from opening up; see

3) Set Auto-Hide in the task bar; I'm pretty sure I can find this one

4) How to make the task bar taller
