Hispeed Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 I am new to all of this but I have gotten my SP2 slipstreamed and the majority of the hotfixes integrated. There are two that will not integrate (they show up in WU after clean install) and they are: KB980175 & KB885250. I have tried both integrating them and adding them manually to the svcpack and updating the .ini file with switches. Am I missing something or am I doing something in the wrong order. I take it that all 15 or so hotfixes can be installed at the same time in the install process without problem but for some reason mine will not or at least WU doesn't see them. I would also like to integrate/install the new ms messenger, .net and high mat support but can't seem to figure that out. Any help would be appreciated.THis is only my second day on this fourum but I have already learned a lot. This is a great place, keep up the good work!

Hispeed Posted February 14, 2005 Author Posted February 14, 2005 BTW I dId look around and couldn't find anything relevant to FIXING my problem and that is why I asked. I apologize if I started a new topic and did not reply to the thread that i was in (which just happened to be one of the two that you put links to) but that was my very first post on this forum. As for your comment "dont make a new post unless u hv something new" is not a very welcoming thing to say to a new member. I may have ticked you off by posting the way I did but we all have to learn sometime. And from the reading I have done here it seems that the matter I brought up is a problem and even in question with the techs @ MS. For your information I have gone through many of the threads here to try to learn how to do this before I became a member this weekend. I have read the Unattended guide and tried everything I could before I asked my question. It's sad to think that I thought I had found a place where I could get good information and a few questions answered only to have someone like you put a bad taste in my mouth after my first post. I will try to post in the appropriate ways in the future and I would ask that you try not to be such a p**ck to beginners.CHEERS!
Astalavista Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 hey only my girl friends call me by the "p" word. you should watch your language. I updated my post above to show you how many topics that exist regarding your issue. And they were post much earlier than your post today. So that is why i said dont post unless u hv something new. I should hv written innovative. But i was in a hurry. I even gave u the link to the fix what else do u want?
