Problem with Yahoo messenger

Ok. I have an install cd with a ton of apps and today i decided to add yahoo messenger suite to it.

I downloaded FULL versions of 5.6 and 6 (builds 1358 and 1750) and they will not silent install with /s.

What am I doing wrong? Its driving me bonkers.

I have tried every known switch and it just isn't installing. I have gone to the correct directory in command mode to test it and I have tried my other silent installs, they all work fine.

Someone help me out please!

Am I using a BETA version which doesn't support the silent switch? Does someone by any chance have a self installing archive or a script or something other than the method by which one uses the download from Yahoo?

Yahoo don't exactly make it easy to get the full version, I found about 20 versions of the download page for the internet version so I am wondering if I have an official version.

Ok, used Universal Silent Switch Finder 0.1 from: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=17940

Everything I have run it with comes up with a switch EXCEPT the yahoo messenger files I downloaded. Hmmm...

Any idea where to get the latest FULL version?

well

the full install 4.6mb should run with /S switch

i run the taskkill to kill the ypager.exe from starting

TASKKILL /F /IM ypager.exe

whats weird is the new builds collapse when running the /S switch

have to investigate some more on this

not sure but it could be vmware's fault

since i upgraded to vmware 5.o beta
