Astix Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Hola folks- having a spot of trouble with w2k3 and use of hardware mouse (I think).In short, the computer bluescreens, performs a memory dump and gives this error:-------------Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: System ErrorEvent Category: (102)Event ID: 1003Date: 06/02/2005Time: 14:18:23User: N/AComputer: ASTSPCDescription:Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 8656ee22, parameter3 f428f8d4, parameter4 00000000.For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.Data:0000: 53 79 73 74 65 6d 20 45 System E0008: 72 72 6f 72 20 20 45 72 rror Er0010: 72 6f 72 20 63 6f 64 65 ror code0018: 20 31 30 30 30 30 30 38 10000080020: 65 20 20 50 61 72 61 6d e Param0028: 65 74 65 72 73 20 63 30 eters c00030: 30 30 30 30 30 35 2c 20 000005, 0038: 38 36 35 36 65 65 32 32 8656ee220040: 2c 20 66 34 32 38 66 38 , f428f80048: 64 34 2c 20 30 30 30 30 d4, 00000050: 30 30 30 30 0000 -------------..whenever I launch a program that requires high-end graphics use. With one such program (a game) I can stop the crash happening by disabling hardware mouse use before booting the game; it seems HM is causing the crashes.I've tried a new motherboard, a complete reinstall of the OS, a new hard drive, and a new graphics card. All of it for nowt- it still bluescreens (but hey, I've had a lovely upgrade...).In short, has anyone had a similar problem and know how to solve or bypass it, or does anyone have a suggestion about what exactly could be causing it and what a suitable cure might be? I'm getting a tad fed up with it.Microsoft knowledge base doesn't have the exact problem listed.Suggestions please, I'm getting fed up of it!
FAT64 Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 The vast majority of BSODs I've experienced have been memory (RAM) problems.
