Bold font disturbing option window ++

I have had this problem for a month or so now, it started out as a slight noticable quirk when I saw that the loading text for my digicamera was now in bold and not normal font (it even took me days to figure out what was so disconcerting about the loading text, the conclusion being that there was just something not right...) and now, some weeks later, I find it has invaded many other places that simply just ruin the whole scene in an application! In the screenshot you can see that the options window is waaay too small for my now bolded fonts in the window, and there is no way i can expand the window, so I'm left with no options (literally). How was this possible, and how can I solve this?? I do not believe it was an "Accessibility" option that i mistakenly pressed on, it's rarely that I do things like that, but maybe there is someone out there who might know the answer to this humongously irritating feat? Any help appreciated.
