Nappicious Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 Hello, I'm having a lot of trouble with my new computer that I just built. In it, I have: AMD 3500+ Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 with nForce 4-4x chipset 1 gig(512x2) Corsair ValueSelect RAM 160 gig Western Digital SATA HDD I have done a lot of troubleshooting on it, and I have determined that I need the 64 bit SATA controller drivers, so that XP may recognize my hard drive, and then it can boot off of it and install. So, my two questions are: 1) Will the nForce 4-4x need specific drivers, or will the regular nForce 4 drivers work? 2) Where can I get the 64 bit drivers that I need? Are they out yet, or will I have to use the 32 bit version of Windows? Thanks a bunch.
