File Sharing Help

Featured Replies

I have a shared folder on a wireless network. Call it folder A.

I moved some folders off another shared drive that was full to folder A and I have no problem accessing those items in the folder.

The files are all media files that have been downloaded via P2P.

The problem is that when my P2P program places a new finished download into folder A, I cannot access it remotely. The folder name appears, but I cannot access it. I do not believe Windows is enabling the sharing on new files.

If I disable the sharing of the folder and the re-enable it everything works fine, but I should not have to do this.

I am using XP Home edition.

Please advise.

Well it seems that it fixed itself.

Thanks for all the good help though. This site really is great.
