Netdom not running after sysprep

Hi everyone,

I have been trying with no success; to join a domain using netdom after having run sysprep and changed the pc name using compname.exe as mentioned here in the forums.

The syntax I am using is:

netdom join %computername% /domain: /userd: /passwordd: /reboot:5

I have tried this from the GuiRunOnce section of sysprep and also from a *.bat file called from Runonce, but all i get is a fleeting cmd prompt window.

I have read that this might happen because "Windows Services" aren't started.

Would anybody have any ideas as to where i am going wrong?
