Afterdawn Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 I was wondering if this driver is needed? I mean the default windows drivers works perfectly right? Who does install these anyway? Can these be done unattended (without the bulk)?BTW I use this http://www.tcmagazine.info/modules.php?mod...ion=show&id=299 program to increase my USB refreshrate.
Acheron Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 I don't know it either. During Windows Setup the Mouseware drivers are not detected. Only issue I have with the standard Windows drivers is the slowdown of the mousespeed when increasing the usb poll frequency. I have used an regtweak to speed-up my mouse to workaround this.
Afterdawn Posted January 16, 2005 Author Posted January 16, 2005 You're right I did notice that my mouse moved slower after this USB-rate-fixer program. What tweak do you use to solve this? So the listing the INF-file(s) in the OemPnpDriversPath won't work? Well I guess the drivers aren't needed anyway if your tweaks works.
Acheron Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 You need to use this tweak during installation:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse]"MouseSensitivity"="16"
Afterdawn Posted January 18, 2005 Author Posted January 18, 2005 @hp38guserwhat are you using to increase the refreshrate?
Acheron Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 nLite look under tweaks, personally asked for this tweak some time ago
